A NOTE TO OUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT
COVID-19 FROM FOUNDER & CEO CEDRIC WALKER
Dear Valued Guests,
The top priority at UniverSoul Circus has always been the safety and the well-being of our customers, performers, and staff. We also know that you have questions and concerns about COVID-19. Therefore,
I want to personally update you on some of the steps we are taking to provide a safe environment for you, your family, and our onsite team at the big top.
First, as a live entertainment show, we are closely monitoring the latest developments and following the guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We have assembled a special task force comprised of associates on-site and in our Atlanta corporate headquarters to coordinate and execute our response to the constantly changing nature of the coronavirus.
Second, we are taking several actions to help you feel confident about your health and safety from the ticket booth, to concessions, into our courtyards and under the big top. We have significantly enhanced our cleaning and sanitation efforts on all guest and employee touchpoints. Starting outside the tent, all box office personnel wear protective gloves, and hand sanitizer is posted at the box office for use by the public. We have also placed hand sanitizing stations for use by the public, visitors, and staff at the ticket entrance of the circus. We have placed additional hand sanitizing stations in the concessions area for customers.
Third, in addition to standard health department mandates for food preparation and handling, the circus has increased the hand washing and sanitization stations for employees. For our performing talent, we have hand sanitizers backstage and in every dressing room. We have increased the number of handwashing sinks in the courtyards outside of the restrooms from two sinks on each side of the courtyard to 10 sinks on each side, bringing the total number to 20 sinks available for public use.
Finally, all restrooms and sinks are being cleaned and sanitized with germ-killing disinfectant after every show. We are washing and sanitizing all seats and handrails inside the circus tent with germ-killing disinfectant after every show.
In addition to these actions, we have posted the CDC’s STOP THE SPREAD OF GERMS flyer throughout the circus site and are strongly encouraging our guests and requiring employees to avoid contact with people who are sick. We also want you follow the CDC recommendations which include covering your cough or sneeze with a tissue; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; to stay home when you are sick except to get medical care; and to wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
We are hopeful these measures give you confidence that we are taking the necessary precautions in this ever-changing environment. We remain committed to providing you and your family with a friendly, clean, and safe experience so that you can feel confident about your surroundings and enjoy the show.
For additional information about COVID-19, please read the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at www.cdc.gov, or your local health department website.
On behalf of everyone here at UniverSoul Circus, thank you for the trust you have put in us. I look forward to seeing you under the big top.
With highest regards,
Founder and CEO
