1. Winners will be determined by the pounds of food items collected.
2. The school with the greatest amount of food collected, with a minimum of 1,000 pounds, will be declared the overall winner. If no school collects 1,000 items of food, then the winner will receive 1 ticket for every 10 pounds collected.
3. The school that has the greatest ratio of food to student body will be declared the second place winner and the next greatest ratio will be declared the third place winner, the overall winner will not be eligible for the ratio prize.
4. Any school that is able to deliver the collected items to the food bank will receive a 20% bonus credit which is applicable toward 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
5. Each school will need to provide the weight slip supplied by the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia or the Foodbank of the Peninsula dated between April 16th and May 8th.
6. We ask that schools place all food items in cardboard boxes or crates weighing no more than 50 lbs each.
