Touring Box Office Manager

The UniverSoul Circus, a national touring circus, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced box office management professional to manage the touring box office, which tours the country ten (10) months of the year, February thru November. This is a full-time position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Include, but not limited to the following:
• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operation of the box office;
• Provide customer service and sales training for staff
• Create and maintain scheduling for all staff in the touring box office;
• Prepare and transmit daily reconciliation reports to accounting personnel;
• Oversees ticketing and customer service issues necessary in servicing UniverSoul Circus guests;
• Interacts closely with touring operations department dealing with moving the box office and equipment from city to city in a timely manner;
• Serves as a liaison between touring box office and Atlanta headquarters, as well as the box office and the respective Ticketmaster offices throughout the country.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years box office experience with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience;
• Effective communications skills in English, business writing, and telephone skills a must
• Must be bondable;
• One year proven on Ticketmaster system.
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency preferred;
• Accuracy in counting cash, reconciling box office revenue, and credit card transactions a must.
• Weekend and extended hours required in a high pressure environment;
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
• Must travel a minimum of ten (10) months per year.
Associate's degree (A. A. in Business, Entertainment, Accounting, Sales, etc.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience could include: Theme Park Manager, Ticket Sales Supervisor, Box Office Supervisor, etc. Pervious experience in Theme Park Box office, Carnival Box Office, or Circus Box Office highly desired
SALARY: RangeLow $40k’sCommensurate with experience.
